Ciliatech CEO Olivier Benoit travelled to Shanghai, China last week – a country that is a key future target market owing to the disproportionately high prevalence of Angle Closure Glaucoma (an indication which Ciliatech are actively pursuing for their Intercil® Uveal Spacer). He was pleased to collect the ‘Patient Impact Award’ on behalf of Ciliatech in recognition of the potential positive impact that the Intercil® Uveal Spacer may have on patients living with Glaucoma in China.
Mednovation previously entered into a cooperation agreement with Life Science Intelligence, Inc. (“LSI”) to promote the parties to the Medtech industry worldwide, and to cooperate with each other to support development and innovation in the Chinese Medtech market. CEO Olivier Benoit said “Ciliatech are pleased to receive this award and would like to thank the organisers of the event for this kind recognition. We hope to be able to bring the Intercil® Uveal Spacer to the Chinese market as part of our future commercialisation plan. “We are confident our device would fill a significant unmet need for glaucoma patients and physicians alike”.
