Ciliatech are delighted to announce the appointment of Saima Khokhar as International Scientific & Medical Affairs Manager, joining the company on a full-time basis to support its growing international medical and scientific affairs function.
In her new role, Saima will work closely with Ciliatech’s clinical, scientific and commercial teams to strengthen the company’s medical affairs activities. She will focus on scientific communication, medical education, engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and supporting the continued clinical adoption of Intercil® across international markets.
Prior to joining Ciliatech, Saima gained extensive experience in ophthalmology and medical affairs through senior roles at Roche, Bayer and Rayner. Most recently, she served as Medical Affairs Partner – Ophthalmology at Roche, following previous positions as Medical Science Liaison – Ophthalmology at Bayer and Global Head of Eye Science at Rayner, where she developed significant expertise in medical education, scientific exchange and KOL engagement.
Saima’s appointment marks another important step in expanding Ciliatech’s scientific and clinical capabilities, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting surgeons through evidence-based education, strong clinical partnerships and continued innovation in glaucoma care.
Saima officially joined Ciliatech on 7th July 2026.
