Ciliatech are delighted to announce the appointment of Tristan Kaloo as Sales Director, joining the company to lead its commercial organisation during an exciting period of international growth and reporting directly to Sahil Syed, VP Sales & Marketing.
In his new role, Tristan will lead Ciliatech’s European sales strategy, support the continued development of the commercial team and strengthen relationships with surgeons, distributors and strategic partners across key international markets.
Prior to joining Ciliatech, Tristan gained more than 20 years of experience within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, specialising in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), commercial leadership and business development. He held senior commercial positions at Alcon, most recently serving as Senior Manager, Surgical Glaucoma Business Development – Europe. Before this, he led Surgical Glaucoma business across the United Kingdom and Ireland and previously held commercial roles with Ivantis, UCB, Allergan and other leading healthcare organisations.
Tristan’s appointment further strengthens Ciliatech’s leadership team and reinforces the company’s commitment to accelerating innovation in glaucoma care. His expertise and strategic leadership will support the company’s continued expansion, strengthen collaboration with healthcare professionals and help bring innovative solutions to more surgeons and patients across Europe.
Tristan officially joined Ciliatech on 19th May 2026.
